Author bio:
I am a 49 year old Nubian man, from Newark New Jersey. The stories that I portray in my novels are not intended to glorify the street life, by any means. But, to highlight the struggles that many of us live through every single day in the ghettos of America. My life is one of those tragic stories, where a series of bad decisions and poor judgement has caused myself and others considerable pain and suffering. Nevertheless, as I've grown older and had the opportunity to reflect on the events that has landed me in prison—for the past 22 years, I've learned that life has so much more to offer and how much time I've wasted living recklessly. Though at this very moment I write to you from the top bunk of a Pennsylvania prison cell, I hold firmly to the hope of a brighter future. I've earned many trades throughout the years, for instance carpentry, warehousing, forklift operation, flagger, going green environment etc, however nothing compares to the feeling of accomplishment I had holding my own self written novel in my hands. Now if I could only master the art of marketing...
